The first example is the central office of the American company Alcoa, where each employee will have personal space with a diameter of 3 m, and offices are located as close to huge windows where natural light enters and sunshine. The interior is designed so that the entrance of each floor has its own kitchen, where staff gather at a cafe and talk. Are also provided sufficient storage sites and documents that people usually carry with them. In addition to Alcoa building using elevators and escalators and air conditioning and air is constantly filtered. Perhaps an office environment is the foundation of success – in 1987 the company’s annual profit is 1,5 billion dollars, while in 2000 is estimated on 23 billion dollars.
